Leadership Development
Imagine that you are creating a leadership development program within your organization. In a 3 to 5 page paper (not including title page or References section), first provide a brief sketch of the organization. Then, detail the leadership development program. Be sure to justify (with at least 3 distinct reasons) why this proposed program is appropriate for the particular organization. Then, share how you plan to measure the effectiveness of the program. Incorporate at least 2 peer reviewed articles (other than assigned readings) that emphasize leadership development best practices within your work.
Optional Activity
You will also begin maintaining a journal in which you will use to assess your progression in understanding performance management. Please detail your initial thoughts regarding what effective performance management is and how your organization could use improvement in the area. This journal is meant to be reflective for you.
