Assignment:
Applied Research Paper (evidence-based approach)
You are going to "create" a comprehensive performance management and total rewards system for an organization. Outline key aspects of such a system, what it would look like (structure, etc.), what processes would need to exist, how would it be designed, what kinds of metrics would be needed for guidance, how it would adapt, etc. Consider prioritizing based on real-world constraints.... and SUPPORTING your ideas with research. Find at least 10 peer-reviewed journal articles from the year 2000 to present (no magazines) that support how you are using the course concepts to better understand/explain the reasons why you would take total rewards and performance management approaches you suggest. In other words, find contemporary research that supports some of the assertions you make, how concepts and theories are integrated into the design of the rewards and performance management systems, etc.
Create a paper according to the following guidelines:
• There should be 1 paragraph summary (abstract).
• You should have between 4 and 5 pages of text (double-spaced, 12 font or smaller, 1 inch margins all the way around).
• Lastly, there should be 1 citation page (single space if needed to fit it all on one page).
• Note that you should use the works that you reference somewhere in your paper to support your ideas of the application of the concept.
