Assignment task: Annotated Bibliography
For this assignment, you will be required to create an annotated bibliography on a chosen topic. An annotated bibliography is a list of sources with brief descriptions and evaluations of each source. The purpose of this assignment is to help you gather and evaluate sources that will be useful for a research paper or project.
An example of the annotated bibliography can be found in the attached file.
Instructions:
Choose a topic: Select a topic that is relevant to your interests. Ensure that the topic is specific enough to allow for in-depth research but broad enough to provide a range of sources.
Find sources: Locate at least three sources related to your selected topic. These sources may include academic journal articles, books, book chapters, reports, and other relevant sources, but not weblogs or social media posts.
Annotate sources: Write a brief summary (around 200-250 words) of each source and evaluate its usefulness to your research project. Consider the credibility of the author, the relevance of the information, the currency of the source, and the intended audience.
Organize sources: Organize your annotated bibliography in alphabetical order by author's last name or by the source's title if there is no author.
Formatting: Use a citation style specified by your instructor, APA.
