Business environment market research
Create a tourism or hospitality organisation of your choice and develop the first stages of a marketing plan.
Working in groups (of no more than 4), create a new tourism or hospitality business upon which you will develop an environmental analysis research designed to identify preferred location, potential target market/s, competitors listing, feasibility and success.
The report should be professionally presented.
The following sections are expected: Title page
Executive summary
Table of contents
1. Introduction (purpose of the report)
2. Description of the business characteristics and operations with inclusion of (but not limited to):
2.1 a mission statement
2.2 business objectives
3. Appropriate research and evaluation of the micro and macro environment; in particular you will clearly identify the rationale for (but not limited to):
3.1 location choice
3.2 potential target market/s
3.3 competition analysis (all assumptions or decisions must be supported by researched data)
4. Conclusion Reference list
Your report should be written in Arial font size 12, with 1.5 spacing and 2 cm left and right margins. Pages should be numbered.
