a) Decide upon appropriate circumstances; i.e., decide if they will be business or personal. Then decide on a specific scenario in which the person is using RO. Be sure to include the manner ROI is used and the reason for using it. For instance, will it be used to measure the uplift in a sales promotion? Or the benefit of a continuous process change? Or if a personal circumstance, will it be used to measure the benefit of a proposed new a/c unit? Etc.
b) List the facts, in other words, the content, you want to include in your scenario.

d) Write the scenario.
Sales Exec Jasmine is trying hard to increase market share of her Super Small Battery, which means taking share from competitors. Customers in the market exhibit a strong brand loyalty, which means they have to be strongly enticed to try a competing product, and even more enticed to continue with its use.
She knows from past promotions that if her customer, Account Manager for Target, has $10,000 of promotional money to spend and drops the price 25%, sales increase by $1,000. However, sales normalize after the promotion. She knows she has to increase the promotional money to continue the sales after the sale price ends, but doesn't know how much and how long the sale should last.
She estimates that if she provides $25,000 of promotional funds over five months, long term sustained lift in sales will be $5,000. What is her projected ROI?
