Assume that you have been hired to create a resource for a social service organization in Ontario. You do not need to name a specific agency. This information is not actually going to be used in a professional capacity. However, your task is to create a resource that this social service organization might use to help provide a voice and build capacity around the particular topic you researched and the impact it has on individuals, couples and families.
Explain how the topic you selected addresses your thesis and impacts individuals, intimate relationships, families and/or parent-child relationships. You must include information on norms, social institutions and roles, as well as theories that explain the topic and influence.
Your resource can be communicated in any manner that you like. Choose a format that will showcase the ideas in your resource, but also one with which you are most comfortable. This is not meant to be a test of your technological skills, but rather an opportunity for you to be creative based on your strengths.

- Explain the social institutions
- Present a theory and identify how it explains the impact of the topic on individuals, intimate relationships, and families.
- Become a resource, because it gives voice to experiences that people might have, and can provide people with information about the topic.
