Problem: Consonance Vs Dissonance
Listen to each example and then decide if the two pitches that sounds together create a quality of consonance or dissonance.
This is the first step in training the musical ear. Only perfect consonances and sharp dissonances will be used in this quiz.
You will only need to determine if the sounds are consonant or dissonant. The only variables will be starting pitch (not all of the examples will start on the same note as is in the ear-training site) and volume level (some will be loud and others quite soft).
It is highly recommended that you use earbuds when completing this quiz, and that your volume level is turned all the way up.
