Depending on what your specific interests and goals are for your future career in culinary arts or hospitality, there is a good chance that there's a professional organization that can help you on your road to success!
And for this lab, you will be selecting three different professional organizations related to hospitality/food service, taking a deep dive into each of them, and creating an informative advertisement for each one.
Your three professional organizations related to hospitality/food service choices may be ones discussed in the unit or they may be organizations that you find through your own research. Ideally, these organizations would align with your own personal interests and career goals, though this is not a requirement.
For each organization, you should create a one page advertisement that is not only catchy and aesthetically pleasing but also informative.
At the very least, you should include the following on your advertisement for each organization:
a) The organization name
b) The organization's mission, goal, and/or focus
c) How to become a member
d) The website address
e) What is offered to members/member benefits
f) Minimum of one image
g) Any other information that is useful or interesting
Feel free to get creative with your advertisements because remember that while they should be highly informative, they should also be highly engaging-they are, after all, advertisements!
