Assignment:
You will create an informational newsletter. This newsletter will inform teenagers, or young adults, about environmental influences that could threaten a developing fetus.
Choose three specific environmental influences that could adversely affect prenatal development. Find a photograph or graphic art to insert for each topic you choose. Write an article describing each of the environmental factors, the affect it may have on the developing fetus, and suggest a resource (website) that could help the reader make better choices concerning each topic you chose to address in your newsletter.
It is important that you make your newsletter look good and that you use correct grammar and spelling. If you use columns, make sure you line up them up, and that you fill most of the space on the page. Add pictures related to the articles for visual appeal.
Most professionals use very fancy (and expensive) layout tools to do newsletters. For most of your purposes, very basic tools (like ClarisWorks or Microsoft Word) are all you need because you can make professional looking newsletters without fancy tools.
