1) Who created the source?
2) What beliefs that relate to the document did the author hold before creating the source?
3) What motivated the person to create the source?
4) How did the author intend for the document to be received?
Author's//Presenter's/Interviewee's Word Choice
1) Does the author use any words or phrases to relate to a certain group of people? Are there words used to distance the author from any group?
2) What words or images are repeated? For what reasons and in what ways does the author say the same thing?
3) Where is the author trying to take a stand? Why? What relevance does the language hold to the meaning of the source as a whole?
4) Why did the author use one word and not another? What meanings is he or she trying to use in the piece by selecting certain words?
Author's//Presenter's/Interviewee's Audience
1) Who is or was the author trying to reach in the piece?
2) Could the message be meant for multiple audiences? If so, how could each audience interpret the meanings, intentions, or explanations?
3) What reaction is the author looking to get from the various audiences?
4) How would people from different time periods or those who have different experiences read this selection?
These 3 paragraphs are the analysis on the primary source and giving your opinion on your primary source of choice of research on the Topic of Global Concern you are focusing on for the Semester Project. The primary source should be a 300-500 word review at this level. When you are finished writing these paragraphs on your primary source for assignment 2.17, you will submit all three paragraphs of review of the primary source and its relevance to your chosen issue and solution review for the global concern. You will also upload the map and chart to show they are prepared.

You are analysing a source and stating the author's purpose and why you will use this in your final essay on you chosen topic of Global Concern in Part B
You will need a minimum of three sources in MLA which will include
a) Where you generated your map,
b) Where you generated your chart,
c) Where you found your primary source.
