Based on the presentation, the readings and your own experience response and discuss the following questions about the applicability the Bureau Competency Case Study
In this case study, the Bureau's work was performed by highly trained subject matter experts. Frequently the role of "manager" was seen as sidetracking or even de-railing their technical career advancement. This situation resulted in numerous managerial vacancies, unwilling (and therefore ineffective) managers and failure to meet organizational performance standards which ultimately led to reduced funding.
