Problem 1: Compare and contrast major depressive disorder and persistent depressive disorder (dysthymia), and bipolar I, bipolar II, and cyclothymic disorder.
Problem 2: Identify potential etiology, risk factors, assessments, interventions and outcomes for the care of individuals with depressive and bipolar disorders.
Problem 3: Demonstrate different principles of communication that are useful in working with patients with depression and bipolar.
