You work for an ICT (Information and Communications Technologies) Training company. The company plans to introduce a one-day public training day on project management for businesses that want to go online but have not yet done so. You have been put in charge of producing a training day prototype to test out the idea.
You have six working weeks in which to prepare, deliver and obtain feedback from the one-day trial. You have the necessary financial and administrative resources to do this, but the following are your
responsibility:
? planning,
? course development,
? booking of expert speakers,
? event hosting and catering
? invitations to attendees
? documentation, and
? feedback
It is envisaged the training day will last from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm with a one hour break for lunch at 12.30 pm. It will be free and by invitation only; there will be 20 attendees selected from a range of business sizes and backgrounds. There will be three sessions in the morning and three sessions after lunch. An expert speaker/ trainer will deliver each session, but you are responsible for deciding the topics to be covered.
Question
Construct a visual project plan e.g. activity network, that shows the principal activities you will need to complete, in what sequence and within what timeframes, in order to deliver an effective prototype training day. The plan must include the responsibilities listed in the Introduction, broken down into task details and sequences.
(Deliverable: visual plan plus any supporting material)
