Conscience and moral principles

1. Consider some reasons why a person may go against his /her conscience in spite of the consequences. Provide examples with your response.

2. "Imagine that you are in your car hurrying home along a quiet road, trying hard to get there in time to see the kickoff of an important football game. You pass an acquaintance having care trouble. He doesn't recognize you. As a dedicated fan, you keep going rather than stop and help him her and missing at least part of the game." Debate the reasons for stopping and not stopping, and how it applies to moral principles.
