60-Hz Filter A 1-kΩ resistor models an important and sensitive laboratory instrument. The instrument measures a desired signal that varies from 1 Hz to 500 Hz. However, interference from power lines in the laboratory causes the instrument to saturate.
A vendor has designed a device that he claims will essentially eliminate a 60-Hz signal from the instrument with only the smallest attenuation to other frequencies.

Connect the vendor's circuit to the model for the instrument and analyze its performance to determine if it will do the job.
