Exploring Ethical Judgments and Professional Responsibilities
Conduct some research on earnings management techniques and financial shenanigans, such as income smoothing and channel stuffing. Using the school library, choose at least 5 techniques and shenanigans and write a paper focused on real-world situations in which companies have been involved in earnings management schemes. Make sure to include the companies involved, the type of earnings management schemes used, and the final outcomes. Also, note if any accounting regulations were violated.
Requirements:
• Back up your response with research from at least 5 scholarly sources and, in addition, you may use the course required readings.
• Your written paper should be 4-5 pages in length not counting the title and reference pages, which you must include.
• Your paper must be formatted according to CSU-Global Guide to Writing and APA Requirements.
