Conduct an hour long observation of the child you have chosen to study to create your comprehensive guidance plan.
Complete a 2-page paper reporting the following: In the first section, introduce your subject.
Use initials or an assumed name to comply with NAEYC's Code of Ethical Conduct on confidentiality. Share the early childhood setting as well as pertinent information regarding the child's family and living arrangement (social and cultural context). Share the child's age and if possible developmental levels across all domains (physical, intellectual, language, emotional, and social).
In the next paragraph, identify any mistaken behaviors you wish to focus your guidance upon as well as any triggers (causes) that you observe.
Conclude by answering the following questions.
What do you want to learn about this child? The behaviors exhibited?
His or her social and emotional development? Remember, to be authentic, observation must be documented in the moment the action occurs. APA format a reference page and in text citations if needed.
Proofread to ensure standard mechanics in spelling, punctuation, and grammar usage.
