Criminal Justice Psychopath Assignment
Psychopaths are often categorized by a chaotic family, parental substance abuse, lack of attention, or just born that way. "The concept of psychopathy, called "one of the most durable, resilient, and influential of all criminological ideas" (Schmallalleger 79). In the "Mask of Sanity" Cleckley described numerous characteristics of the psychopathic personality. (See page 79). He also stated there is a primary and secondary psychopath. Question: What is the difference in the two? Are there any similarities? Explain.
