The company employs a process costing system to assign production costs to the coal it processes. For the third week in March 2001, the firm had a beginning Work in Process Inventory of 50,000 tons of ore that were 100 percent complete as to material and 30 percent complete as to conversion. During the week, an additional 200,000 tons of ore were started in process. At the end of the week, 35,000 tons remained in Work in Process Inventory and were 70percent complete as to material and 60 percent complete as to conversion.For the third week in March:
