The clinical trial is run to evaluate efficacy of the new drug to decrease high blood pressure. Patients with the diagnosis of hypertension (high blood pressure) are employed to take part in trial and randomized to get either new drug or placebo. Participants take allotted drug for 12 weeks and their blood pressure status is recorded. At the end of trial, participants are categorized as still having hypertension or not.
