Dilip And The Rambo Circus

The Rambo Circus. Dilip is known for being a circus man who loved his job and a man with a huge heart and love for animals and helping people in need. To say that Dilip was a good person is an understatement. It is not very often you come across someone like him. The impact he had on the people he encountered daily was huge and it was celebrated all the way up to his death.

Dilip was such a smart man and knew what it took to care for animals in his circus, although he knew that good intentions brought on the reason for the ban on animals, he also knew he loved his animals what it took to care for them. He knew that the bond between the animals and the caretakers went beyond just training the animals. He wanted to do everything in his power to keep that bond going. Even offering to continue to pay the caretakers wages to move wherever the animals were going to be placed to insure they were always taken care of. Seeing how 26 lions died after only a couple of months in the government's care was proof enough that he knew what he was doing when caring for them.

His love for helping others went hand in hand with his business. He continued to offer a helping hand during Covid even when times were tough at the circus, he also set his differences aside when it came to his disagreements with the ban on animals in court to help someone on the opposite side when they were in need. For his employees, he was always there for them. He helped one of them overcome addiction to alcohol and pushed him to become one the world's top performers in his craft. The love he had for others and the willingness to always lend a helping hand no matter what the case was did not go unnoticed. He was appreciated and loved by so many people he met.

The demanding work and effort that went into continually trying to improve his show never stopped. His collaboration with circuses in Russia and Uzbekistan brought new performances to his show to help draw in the audience, he even brought in people from Africa to preform new dare devil acts. His hard work and dedication to his circus was his life. After his passing the outpour of love he received was very heartwarming. The song sang by Biju and the rest of the circus clowns moved a packed audience and the next day 23,000 people continued to show their love online for Dilip's last journey in Pune.

Dilip's life had such a lasting impact on everyone he encountered. It did not matter who you were he was going to make sure he went out of his way to help you. It showed in his day-to-day life when he even helped someone who was taking away one of the most important acts of his show all the way down to the very animals they took away. I think we can all say that having him around made the world a better place.
