Assignment task:
Students will identify and develop key social work knowledge and skills necessary for completing a social work assessment report and a plan for working with individuals. It comprises of two parts. Part A is the template for writing your assessment report and details of your proposed plan for working with your client. . Students are required to complete the report template using the multidimensional assessment framework (Harms, 2021), and develop a plan for working with your client in response to your assessment. In formulating your assessment of the client's situation and your plan, you are to apply one of the following practice approaches: Aboriginal Social-Emotional Well Being Model, anti-oppressive, anti-racist, case management, community development, crisis Plan, critical social work, decolonisation, family systems theory, family role theories, feminist, human existential, Maori perspectives of health and wellbeing, narrative therapy, psycho-dynamic, radical social work, systems theory, structural social work, task-centred Part B includes a series of questions for you to answer that reflect your analysis of the social work knowledge you have used to complete the assessment report and plan.
