Problem
You will make your first quarter decisions by making choices on each of the tabs on the left side. You have $1.4 million to spend over four quarters (one year):
A. Staffing:
a. Make diversity decisions by changing your target female and minority employees.
b. Under each Staffing Level 5-1, look at the staffing projections and make decisions to promote from a lower level or hire externally.
c. Click Save when you are done with your Staffing decisions
B. Wages:
a. Make a percentage adjustment for all your employees or go into each level and make wage adjustment for each employee level (Levels 5-1)
b. Click Save when you have completed your Wage decisions
C. Benefits:
a. Make benefit decisions on Holidays, Retirement, Health, and Other
b. Click Save when you have completed your Benefits decisions
D. Training:
a. Make training decisions on New/Promoted Employees, Managers, Safety, and Quality
b. Click Save when you have completed your Training decisions
E. Programs:
a. Make decisions on the type of programs you will include in the quarter
b. Click Save when you have completed your Program decisions
F. Special Decisions:
a. Each quarter you will be given a new special decision to make. Once in team play, the special decisions will align with the course chapters we are covering in class.
b. Complete your special decision choice
c. Click Save when you have completed your Special Decision
G. Review your Decision Summary.
