Assignment task:
For your final project, you will complete an epidemiological research study report based on a research study on a coronavirus outbreak. Throughout the course, you will complete milestone assignments that are drafts of specific sections of the final project. Because these milestone assignments are drafts of the final project, some critical elements in the rubric are identical to those in the Final Project Rubric. In Milestone One, you will review the coronavirus outbreak research study and analyze the health issue at the core of the study. You will use the research you conducted in Module One, the research study, and the Coronavirus Case Study Data Tables resource to help analyze the health issue. You will complete this assignment in the following steps: Use the case study to determine risk factors and mode of transmission. Use the Coronavirus Case Study Data Tables resource to calculate incidence, prevalence, and mortality and interpret odds ratios.
