Problem: I saw this 30-year-old patient in the office, and he was complaining of swelling in his right inguinal area and it had gradually been getting bigger,. Initial inspection found the right inguinal area was indeed very swollen and a hernia was indeed present. Further examination on the left side showed a second inguinal hernia of good size. After discussing the findings with the patient, he indicated that he wanted to go ahead and have them repaired. cpt code
