Problem:
In the firm, markets rarely find out individual's compensation. Instead it is determined by the variety of other means. If you were to devise the compensation policy for architectural firm what approaches would you believe for reimbursing architects, designers and engineers? What would their strengths be, i.e., in what ways would they enhance the efficiency of the firm? What would their weaknesses be? What sorts of market failures do you think you would most likely encounter? How would a good compensation system decrease the impact of such failures on the efficient operation of the firm?
