Compensable time worked under the, Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) can be a challenge to ascertain. The interpretation and application of teh FLSA requries compenstaion for:
1) All hours worked for the emploer, regardless of whether the employer premitted those hours wored, such as overtime or missed meal periods
2) All hours pf woork approved by the employer- all other hours wored would not be compensable.
3) All hours of work for those who have the legal right to work in the US- payment is not required for those who were not legal to work
4) None of these choices.
