Comparison of mean and standard deviation

Payne (2001) gave participants the computerized task in which they first see the face and then picture of either a gun or tool. The task was to press one button if it was the tool and different one of it was gun. Unknown to participates while they were doing the study, the faces serves as "prime" (something that starts you thinking particular way) and half the time were of the black person and half the time of white person. Table show the means and standard deviation for reactions time (time to decide of the picture is of gun or tool) after wither black or white prime. (In Experiment 2, participants were told to decide as fast as possible.) Describe the results to a person who has never had course in statistics (Be sure to describe some specific numbers and the general principle of mean and standard of deviation.
