Incorporating relapse prevention into treatment is a crucial part of effective substance abuse counseling, as once a client has stopped using, he or she may still feel strong urges to return to patterns of abuse.
In this Discussion, you will compare relapse prevention models to determine how they might best be applied in a counseling setting.
