Toilet training is a common selection; however, see if you can come up with something other than this one as it is the most commonly used. I will accept any learning situation you select, my comment is only to see if can stretch your thoughts beyond the obvious or common situations and to encourage your creativity, as well as your research.
Write a 1,050- to 1,400-word paper in which you evaluate the application of instrumental conditioning to your selected learning situation. As a part of your evaluation, you must address the following items:
- Describe your selected learning situation.
- Compare and contrast the concepts of positive and negative reinforcement asthey relate to your selected situation.
- Explain the role of reward and punishment in your selected learning situation.
- Explain which form of instrumental conditioning would be most effective in your selected situation.
