Communication is often compared to the circulatory system in the human body. It's that important! Teams need to have open and honest communication. They need to be able to communicate effectively through various means like written and oral communication. Teams can improve their communication skills and overcome barriers to communication by listening effectively to one another, applying feedback, being sensitive to others, and checking for understanding (Lussier & AChua, 2012).
