Argument of your own:
This assignment gives you the chance to develop an argument of your own for a position you feel strongly about. In order to do this assignment, choose a topic that is controversial, though not the same topic you chose for the first paper. In 600-750 words, defend your view on that topic, using the argumentative strategies used so far, avoiding fallacies, and being careful to consider objections to your view.
This is not a research paper. Do not collect arguments from the Internet. Use arguments of your own.
Make sure that you use MLA format in writing your essay. Be sure to use use 12-point font, standard margins, and page numbers.
Double-space your essay, and do not put an extra line-space between paragraphs. A title page is not necessary, but your title should be on the first page.
