The critical path of the project is followed by sequence of activities that must be completed on time for the project to be completed on the due date. This also means that if there is a delay for a day, the entire project will have to be delayed for the whole entire day. Therefore, the critical path is very important in ensuring that there is good project management and that it is done in time. For the critical path to work effectively, the work load then should therefore be broken down into activities.

Looking at the project, it will have a float or slack during the initiation period in which the project will start to be implemented. This usually occurs since there are various different things that plan in role so that the project can commence immediately. These delays in many times are caused by various reasons such as lack of enough resources or even financial stability for the project. During the project, the various objectives that are being used to ensure that the project is swiftly done is to have short precise meetings that covers the details and progress of the project.

Conclusion

The three things believed that would ensure the completion of the project are initiation, planning, and execution. The start of project determines when it ends. Therefore, the faster the implementation of the project means the quicker the project will commence in completion. Also, planning is important since it ensure that one is able to go step by step in ensuring that the plan is executed as planned. Additional activities that will ensure that the project is finished on time is dividing the project in various groups to ensure that it runs fast and having regular checks as to the progress of the project. This is to ensure that the project will be completed on time and also as per required.
