Part I:
1) Address any case laws relevant to change of control agreements
2) Discuss any information regarding non-compete agreements that you feel is important in drafting the final document.
3) Display an example of a written contract that you have mocked up. It could be a purchase agreement for a home, car, or furniture; a warranty agreement; or a contract for home repairs. Identify the features that make it a valid contract.
4) Write a short contract in Word to provide a service to someone. You may request monetary reimbursement or something else of equal value from the other party. For full credit, I must address the following in the slides and short contract:
Part 2:
1) Explain the basics of contract law.
2) Explain contract law in a simple and concise manner.
3) Incorporate the terms offer, acceptance, and consideration.
4) Include an example of a written contract that you mocked up, and identify the features that make it a valid contract.
5) Include a short contract to provide a service to someone, and identify the features that make it a valid contract.
6) Make sure that the examples given satisfy the basic requirements for a contract.
