Vanoni Biological Supplies, Inc., contracted with the Hayden Institute to supply the Institute with 24,000 biological specimens for a series of experiments that the Institute has agreed to perform for the Maritime University of Columbia.
The Institute must have the specimens by September 9 to meet the University's schedule. After delivering 12,000 of the specimens, Vanoni told the Institute that it wanted an additional $1,600 to deliver the remaining 12,000 specimens.
Can Vanoni make the delivery of the remaining 12,000 specimens consideration in a new agreement with the Institute? Explain.
