Calculate the mv of equity as common shares outstanding

Assignment

Insert a summary table that shows the calculated Z-score for each of the three companies.

• Calculate "Working Capital" as Current Assets minus Current Liabilities.

• Calculate the "MV of Equity" as Common Shares Outstanding multiplied by the Share Price as of the Balance Sheet date.

• Use the same "Net Income" number as "Earnings" from your FSA Memo 2 when calculating Earnings before Interest and Taxes (EBIT). Often companies refer to Tax Expense as the "Provision for Income Taxes."

• The table must include the Z-score for each company, the five ratios for each company, and the financial items included in each ratio. For the financial itemsincluded in the ratios, you do not need to provide detail (i.e., you must showtotal Working Capital, but you do not need to show Current Assets and CurrentLiabilities).

• Makes sure your table is formatted so that Dr. Idris can easily understand it.

1. Use labels, borders, font size, etc. to improve understandability.
2. You should indent and underline sub-totals.
3. You should clearly separate and label sections of your table for each company
4. Use care to size columns so as not to have too much or too little space.
5. State values that are comparable (i.e., not millions vs. thousands).
6. Make sure number and label indentation has some pattern to it (e.g., left justified vs. right justified).
7. The table must fit on one page.
8. Use care when numbers are given in thousands or millions.
9. Sloppy tables will be penalized.

Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:

1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.

2. The response also include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.

3. Also Include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
