Calculate the enthalpy change for the reaction

1) In an experiment we determined that the heat of areaction b/w 1.0M NaOH and 1.0M HCl, 50.mL of the sodium hydroxidesolution and 50 mL of hydrochloric acid solution were mixed in a calorimeter. By graphing the temp change against time, thetemp change at the time of mixing was determined to be 6.70 degrees C . If the density of 0.5 M sodium chloride solution is1.02 g/mL the specific heat of the solution 0.96 cal/g C, what isthe heat of rxn of sodium hydroxide with hydrochloric acid incalories per mole of NaOH?

2) The heat of combustion of carbon(graphite) is -393 kj/ mol, whereas the heat of combusition of carbon (diamond) is -395kj/mole. What is the enthalpy change for the reaction C(graphite)-àC (diamond)?
