Objective
This exercise is designed in order to examine your understanding of the daily tasks and responsibilities of cross functional management teams.
Instructions
Managing the responsibilities of cross functional management teams requires attention to detail. Part of that detail requires that project managers develop a Project Resource Calendar to set a schedule for how and when resources are allocated and used. This deliverable will ask you to create a model project resource calendar and to use it schedule a fictional project.
1. Download the ECE Project Document and the Calendar Templatedocuments.
2. Build the project tracking system you will use to manage time in the template. In the template:
a. Clearly classify project milestone headings
b. Clearly position organizational roles and team members
c. Demonstrate who, when, where, and how resources will be allocated during the project lifestyle
d. Include calendar dates and milestones delivery deadlines in chronological order
3. Provide a timeline for completion in four months (120 days or 16 weeks)
4. Document is formatted in a manner appropriate for the workplace
