Case Scenario:
You have just been hired as the "training department of one" for Go Live Systems, Inc. Go Live is a small company that is poised to grow quickly over the next six months. They have just patented an application that will greatly improve usability and compatibility of the two largest ERP (enterprise resource planning) systems. They are forming partnerships with the two larger companies, and making sales and license renewal calls together.
Assignment:
As you prepare to create your business strategy for hiring and training consultants, you need to determine the best way to communicate your plan to upper management. What type of communication technique(s) might work best for this type of proposal? Remember, training has never been implemented in the company. Upper management is going to have to be convinced that this is in their best interest. Search the Library and other Internet sources for examples of communication techniques.
When you prepare for meetings like this, you keep notes in a "work journal".
