PURPOSE: To demonstrate competency with Matlab graphical user interfaces.
Requirements: Build a Matlab based graphical user interface (GUI) that operates in conjunction with a base Matlab/ Simulink simulation (or data acquisition) program. Any base simulation is considered acceptable.
Minimum Functionalities: The GUI must contain the following functionalities.
1) A minimum of two operating screens having the ability to toggle back and forth with buttons and having only one open (working) screen at a time.
2) Execute the underlying Matlab / Simulink code from the GUI with user control.
3) Utilize at least one text box and one edit box.
4) Utilize at least one list box.
5) Implement at least one axes and place a graph with title and labels based on the simulation within the box.
6) Have a user specified filename entered into the GUI and have the simulation results stored to the hard drive.
7) Allow the user to view and select from a list of data files created in 6) and load the selection into the simulation model or display the results of the previous simulation in the GUI.
8) Exit the GUI via a button.
Please provide a readme file describing the user operation of the GUI. Include a suggested path (the operations and suggested inputs) to operate the GUI for grading purposes to demonstrate the above requirements.
