Problem
To make support and speed of support as consistent and easy as possible, we need imaging so as many people as possible are on the same operating system with the same group policy. Imaging computers makes it so they all start on the same version of Windows and if you have a group policy setup you know all the default settings for those computers as well. There are a couple great tools available from Microsoft such as SCCM or MDT, system center config manager or Microsoft deployment toolkit. Using these tools to put together an image of Windows that has a secure version with working baselines to keep everything as close to the same as possible. This makes it easier for IT to troubleshoot any problems you have or get a new computer out to you ASAP.
