This is 3 part homework on business law. Each prompt response must be a page in length and include its own internet references.
Prompt I
Internet commerce is expanding so rapidly, it is hard to even measure the growth with any accuracy. So, there are countless web sites that are trying to obtain your assent to purchase.
Find a site on the Internet that could benefit from your advice, now that you understand what is necessary for legal assent. Then, write a memo on the following items:
i. Briefly describe the site you have chosen and why you believe that they would need legal advice.
ii. List the steps you would urge them to take to avoid possible contract rescission on grounds of mistake or misrepresentation.
Prompt II
Locate information for the Statute of Frauds for the state in which you live (Texas).
Then, write a memo on the following items:
i. Explain which exceptions this chapter discusses that the Statute of Frauds, in your state, either has or does not have.
ii. Explain which exceptions you would either add or remove from the ones your state currently recognizes.
Prompt III
Also go to these sites to find out what remedies are available for breach of contract in Canada.
Then, write a memo in which you compare the remedies available for a breach of contract in Canada with those available in the United States.
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
i) The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
ii) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
iii) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
