Dissolved organic compounds (DOCs) consist of a variety of organic material in water systems. These dissolved particles are mostly the result of decaying organic matter and highly organic soils. The DOC concentration is one measure of the quality of a water system.
Independent random samples of water in the Clackamas River in northwestern Oregon at four locations were obtained, and the DOC was measured for each (in mg/L). Is there any evidence to suggest at least two population mean DOC concentrations are different? Use a = 0.01.
