Interviews can take many different forms that vary in approach and format. Panel interviews are one approach to interviewing and they typically consist of a team of several people who meet with the candidate at the same time.
Discuss the following:
1. Why do you feel that companies use a panel for interviews?
2. What are some of the benefits and disadvantages to panel interviews?
3. Have you ever experienced a panel interview? If so, how did it make you feel? If not, how do you think that you would feel if you were placed in a panel interview situation?
