Management skill development is a critical part of graduate school curricula. Though, when practicing managers are asked to assess the organizational behavior and management courses they took in college, they usually complain that the courses didn't teach them skills relevant to their jobs. Most report that "people problems" were their most important challenge and they felt that their university education had not made them to handle this challenge.
