This paper analyzed the layout and customer flow of Toitu Otago Settlers Museum (TOSM) on the basis of operational management theory. In the analysis of TOSM, it is founded that its layout process is not effective and requires the changes in process. In the past year, TOSM redesigned its museum worth $35 million but also requires the improvement in layout process. From evaluates the TOSM, it can be said that facilities layout is effective of it to improve its function and services. Facilities layout is effective of TOSM to utilize the resources and space. It is also reduced the cost of material handling that will be beneficial of TOSM to improve its financial position in market.
