The paper should be appr. 5 pages long (at least) without bibliography.
Provide illustrations using short quotes or references (like "Ex. 3:15").
Avoid long quotations and retelling the stories.
Do not plagiarize, give references, use quotation mark.
On women.
In your paper you should try to answer these questions (the order does not matter):
What was the position/status of women in the Ancient Israelite society? How did women understand their duty? (Suggestion: Begin your paper with the story about Eve) What were their major concerns? What made them happy and their life meaningful? What were the means they sometimes had to employ to attain their goal? Why? Contrast women's behavior with the men's. How did the ancient men (authors of these texts) view women? For what are women praised in the biblical stories that you have read (Gen. -Ex.)? How does God act through women? Why does he need to work through them sometimes?
