Assignment task: Introductory speech
Give a brief statement about yourself. This is intended to go deeper. The student should look at what they "bring to the table" in terms of talents/gifts, characteristics, hopes or dreams. This is, in a sense, part of what we tap when we are part of an interview process, so the student may want to think in terms of their career goals. A possibility is to draw in personality tests or skill assessments to underscore one's abilities.
