Singapore seeks to guarantee its own water security in the face of climate change by remaining highly pragmatic, taking the long view, planning well in advance and executing relentlessly. Water insecurity posed significant threats to the world than to a State. The threats to human security extend further than not having fresh water for consumption. The industrial revolution and the need for renewable energy have placed more demand on water. Assess the social impacts and security consequences of water scarcity.
