Problem
A variety of interventions have been developed to address the problem of teen parenting. These interventions can be divided into two categories: prevention interventions and intervention programs for teen parents. Prevention interventions typically focus on educating teens about reproductive health and providing access to contraception. Examples of these interventions include school-based programs, community-based programs, and health care provider-delivered programs.
